iGamingTextLab developed the content strategy and production system for an affiliate team launching simultaneously in 9 markets.

From Zero to a 9-Market Content Operation: 38 of 60 Articles in Top 5

About the Case

  • Content languages: Dutch, Swedish, German, French, Polish, Hungarian, Bengali, Vietnamese, Indonesian
  • Markets: Netherlands, Sweden, Germany, France, Poland, Hungary, Bangladesh, Vietnam, Indonesia
  • Project website: Protected by NDA

Client

The client was a new casino affiliate team preparing to launch content-driven websites across 6 European and 3 Asian markets.

The team had developers, a defined budget, and an ambitious expansion plan. However, it had no internal content department or established process for planning and producing multilingual affiliate content.

Task / Problem

The client intended to enter all 9 markets within the same launch period but had never managed writers or built a multilingual content workflow.

There was no content strategy, keyword map, briefing system, tone-of-voice framework, or editorial process. The client also lacked the resources to recruit and coordinate native specialists across nine languages.

iGamingTextLab needed to build the complete content infrastructure, establish a multilingual content creation workflow, and prepare 60 original articles of 1,500–2,000 words each. The scope covered 110,000 words and had to be completed within 6 weeks.

Project Requirements

  • Develop a content strategy for 9 markets
  • Research local search demand and competitor coverage
  • Build separate keyword maps for every language
  • Define topic clusters and search intent for each page
  • Create reusable briefing templates and tone-of-voice guidelines
  • Recruit and coordinate native-language editorial teams
  • Produce 60 original articles of 1,500–2,000 words
  • Include SEO editing, native proofreading, formatting, and QA
  • Deliver completed content in weekly batches within 6 weeks

Content Types

  • Informational casino guides
  • Game overviews
  • Bonus explainers
  • Responsible gambling content
  • Cryptocurrency and payment method articles
  • Legal and regulatory pages

Publication Frequency

Managed by the client. iGamingTextLab delivered completed articles in weekly batches over 6 weeks.

Tasks and Solutions

Task 1: Build a Content Strategy for Nine Different Markets

The client had a single expansion objective, but the 9 markets differed in competition, search behaviour, regulation, terminology, and commercial priorities.

Applying the same content plan to every market would have ignored local demand. Topics with strong acquisition potential in one country could be irrelevant, excessively competitive, or unsuitable in another.

Solution: Market-Specific Content Planning

An iGamingTextLab content strategist and SEO specialist developed a separate framework for each market.

The team assessed market maturity, competitor coverage, available search opportunities, and the role each content section would play in the acquisition funnel.

Based on this research, iGamingTextLab:

  • defined content goals and traffic priorities for every market;
  • created separate topic clusters around games, bonuses, responsible gambling, payments, regulation, and other relevant subjects;
  • balanced evergreen informational content with pages addressing stronger commercial intent;
  • prioritized topics according to relevance and realistic ranking potential.

This provided the client with 9 market-specific content plans rather than translated versions of one universal strategy.

Task 2: Create Multilingual Keyword Maps Without Relying on Direct Translation

A keyword translated from English does not necessarily reflect how users search in another market. Search demand, wording, intent, and SERP composition had to be evaluated separately for every language.

The client did not have the internal SEO or native-language resources required to conduct this research across all nine markets.

Solution: Local Keyword Research and Mapping

The SEO specialist used Ahrefs, Surfer SEO, Google Trends, native-language search queries, and competitor analysis to collect and evaluate relevant keywords for multilingual keyword mapping.

The research process included:

  • analyzing query demand and ranking pages in each market;
  • reviewing SERP structures and content formats;
  • collecting related terminology and NLP-based suggestions;
  • comparing competing pages and identifying content gaps;
  • grouping keywords through manual review and SERP similarity;
  • assigning search intent and priority to each cluster.

Native writers and editors reviewed the terminology to identify unnatural translations, ambiguous phrases, and expressions that did not match local usage.

The resulting keyword maps focused on relevant mid- and long-tail opportunities where they offered a realistic path to early visibility.

Task 3: Turn the Strategy into Production-Ready Briefs

A multilingual strategy could not be executed consistently without clear instructions for writers and editors.

Each team needed to understand the purpose of the page, its target queries, required structure, internal linking logic, tone, and conversion role. At the same time, the briefs had to leave enough flexibility for native specialists to adapt the content to their market.

Solution: A Shared Briefing and Tone-of-Voice System

The content strategist, SEO specialist, editors, and Editor-in-Chief developed a shared editorial framework and reusable briefing templates for the project.

The editorial framework defined tone of voice, market-specific terminology, and common quality standards. Each page brief included:

  • the page objective and intended search intent;
  • primary and supporting queries;
  • recommended structure and section requirements;
  • internal linking instructions;
  • relevant FAQs and feature blocks;
  • call-to-action logic;
  • language- and market-specific guidance.

This system maintained strategic and editorial consistency across the project while giving each native-language team enough flexibility to create original content rather than translate a single master text.

Task 4: Establish Multilingual Content Production Within 6 Weeks

The client needed 60 original articles across 9 languages but had no writers, editors, proofreaders, or internal workflow.

Managing the project sequentially would have delayed production until all research and briefs were complete. It would also have created a final quality-control bottleneck.

Solution: Parallel Production with Native Editorial Teams

iGamingTextLab assembled native writers, editors, and proofreaders for all 9 languages.

The teams worked in parallel as market-level strategies and briefs were approved:

  • Native writers researched and produced original articles for their assigned markets.
  • Editors checked structure, factual accuracy, search intent, terminology, and compliance with the brief.
  • Native proofreaders completed the final language review and ensured that each article sounded natural.
  • The Editor-in-Chief coordinated the project and maintained shared quality standards across all nine teams.

Completed articles were formatted, checked, and delivered to the client in weekly batches. This allowed production to begin before the entire planning stage had concluded and kept the six-week schedule manageable.

Results

  • All 60 articles, totalling approximately 110,000 words, were planned, written, edited, proofread, and delivered across 9 languages within 6 weeks.
  • According to performance data provided by the client, 38 of the 60 articles reached Google’s Top 5 within eight weeks. Pages also appeared in Featured Snippets for target queries across four markets.
  • The newly published pages generated 11,400 combined organic sessions during the first month. By the third month, traffic to the new content sections had increased by 129% compared with the first month.
  • The articles generated more than 130 recorded goal completions, including registrations and other on-page conversions.

Disclaimer: iGamingTextLab was responsible for content strategy, keyword research, multilingual keyword mapping, briefing, writing, editing, native proofreading, formatting, and content QA. Production and delivery were measured by iGamingTextLab. Ranking, traffic, Featured Snippet, and conversion figures were supplied by the client after publication. The client controlled publication, website implementation, and the wider SEO strategy. The reported results therefore cannot be attributed to content alone. Technical SEO, domain authority, backlinks, publication timing, market competition, and other factors may also have influenced performance.

Editor-in-Chief’s Comment

“The client approached the launch with an ambitious expansion plan but also understood that 9 markets could not be supported by one universal content model. Their willingness to develop a separate strategy for each market gave our SEO and editorial teams the space to build a scalable system without sacrificing local relevance. That foundation made it possible to coordinate nine language teams and deliver the complete project within 6 weeks.”
